FROM OSCAR MAYER

SOFT  AND CHEWY  COOKIES

3-2 and 1/2 oz. jars beef baby food

1/4 c. dry milk powder

1/4 c. wheat germ or cream of wheat

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and well grease a cookie sheet.

Non- stick sheets will work too.  I use a small amount of Pam on the sheet first. 

Combine all ingredients together, form into balls and place on cookie sheets.  Use fork to slightly flatten into desired shape.  Bake approximately 15 minutes or until brown.  Remove from sheet to cooling rack.  Keep  in fridge or freeze for later use.  I make my own baby food for this with a processor.  Oscar prefers liver mixed in with his.

BROWNIES

1/2 c. Crisco

3 Tbs.  honey

4 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla or almond flavoring

1 c. whole wheat flour

1/4 c. carob powder

1/2 tsp. baking powder

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease a  10 x 15 cookie sheet. 

Cream the  honey and Crisco together. Add remaining ingredients.  Best well and pour into greased pan.  Bake approximately 25 minutes.  Cool completely.   Frost with  of  12 oz. softened cream cheese and 2 tsp. of honey that has been creamed together.

GARLIC

Studies show that giving dogs pasteurized garlic juice may prevent them from having worms and may get rid of worms already there.  It helps keep fleas and ticks off your dog by getting into his system and creating a garlic odor that fleas and ticks can detect and will make them avoid your dog altogether.  The garlic also helps reduce your dogs cholesterol level to give him good heart function.  Just spray  the garlic juice into your dogs food and mix well.  If he won't eat it, try mixing it with soybean or olive oil before mixing with his food. For an extra bonus, the soybean or olive oil may improve his coat.

5 to 20 lbs.  dog    4 sprays in his food daily

21 to 50  lbs.  dog  6 sprays in his food daily

51 lbs. and over     8 sprays in his food daily

A reminder----use pasteurized garlic juice----also, he won't smell like the garlic patch at the farm.  You won't smell it but the fleas and ticks will.
